The Norwegian School of Management BI
The Norwegian School of Management BI was established in 1943. The ‘Business School of the Future’
The Norwegian School of Management BI is a future oriented business school. This not only shows in the research and teaching carried out but also in the commitment to constantly update and improve teaching facilities. In August 2005 the school will move to a new, tailor- made campus, which in every respect will be the ‘business school of the future’. This campus will be centrally located in an emerging and pulsating business area in Oslo. It will offer students and faculty an exciting learning environment with state-of-the-art facilities and an ultra-modern library
Norway and Oslo
The main campus of the Norwegian School of Management BI is located in Oslo, the capital of Norway. Norway is one of the five Nordic nations, which lie within the northern stretches of the European continent. The country is long and narrow, with more than 30% of the land covered by forests. There are many rivers and lakes and nearly half of the landmass is made up of mountain ranges. Norway’s wonderful nature and countryside simply invite to exciting out-door activities all year around: skiing, mountain hiking, climbing, hunting, cycling, rafting, swimming, golf, sailing etc. Alternatively you can also relax to and enjoy the view of breathtaking fjords and landscapes.
Oslo is a unique city with a population of about half a million people. It is bounded by the Oslo Fjord to the south and unspoiled natural woodlands to the north and east and offers a unique variety in activities: from downhill skiing to exciting nightlife.
